On February 26th I was in NYC to participate in the McGraw-Hill Education event: Transformative Teaching. The virtual meeting explored how adaptive learning is transforming the educational ecosystem, from the classroom, to instructors and then onto the student. I had two sessions scheduled on that day:
11am: Inside the Minds of Students: Data Driven Teaching and Learning. This will be an interview with David Levin, the CEO of McGraw-Hill Education, on how that date from adaptive learning platforms is transforming the educational landscape. For a bit if background, see my earlier post “Getting Inside the Minds of Students”
12pm: Student Panel: How Digital Shapes Their Potential. I will be the moderator for a panel discussion with a group of exceptional students from across the country. We will be discussing the influence of adaptive learning technologies and the personalization of learning on their education.
